Distasteful
While reading Animal Planets book- Animals, a visual encyclopedia, copy write 2015, I suspected several times that I was reading misinformation, but I was absolutely discussed when I came to page 76 and read about how the long eared hedgehog can survive for up to 10 weeks without food in a lab. I'm not sure what kind of science was going on here but I immediately pictured this cute little animal being starved to death in a lab. Maybe sometimes science can justify animal cruelty in some peoples eyes but this reeks of animal abuse and at the very least has no place in a book published for children.
shame on someone!

I agree all the good shows are not on anymore. All my vet shows.
Dr Jeff and pittbulls and parolees. Amanda to the rescue is a great show that is no longer on. Bring these shows back. Don’t have shows that have nothing to do with animals.
Extreme pools have nothing to do with animals.
I don’t watch the animal channel as much as I used to. The new line up is awful
